Business Education - Grades 9-12

The mission of Business Education in Saint Paul Public Schools is to empower and prepare students to become responsible citizens, capable of making informed economic decisions that will benefit their personal and professional lives.

Business Education provides instruction for and about business. Students learn to:

  • Communicate technologically
  • Function as economically literate citizens
  • Aspire to higher level of employability
  • Access post-secondary opportunities in business programs with possible articulation credits.

Saint Paul Public Schools Business Education embeds the NBEA (National Business Education Association) standards in all courses to develop knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for students to access post secondary opportunities, as well as be successful in the workforce. Articulation agreements currently exist with local colleges for specific courses as students demonstrate identified competencies.
